To be honest I was much more fond of the older series than I am the newer ones. I just believe that like most long series games the story and game play deteriorates over time. But the newest game in contrast with other games of today is still very good.

I reckon they're all good. Imo, VIII was a let down. VII was brilliant, X was very good also and XII too. But i haven't played any of the others that much. Gonna play IX soon though so i can get excalibur 2
